I am a Health and Safety Manager for a manufacturing firm. I have two daughters, one of whom attends Springfield.

I am passionate about the importance of education and very much enjoy playing a part in the success of the school.

In my spare time I enjoy reading and days out with my family.

I have a son and daughter who attend Springfield and I have a committed interest in the school.

As a governor, I hope to support the school and staff in ensuring that Springfield continues to be a positive and supportive place for our children.

I am particularly interested in the arts, and I'm keen to reinforce creativity within the school.

Adilah Iqbal (Staff)

I have been working at Springfield Primary School since I finished my PGCE. Initially I taught Year 5 pupils but I am now the Year 6 class teacher.

I am the subject lead for the ‘Arts’ (art, music, drama and dance), and I have been in this role for over a year now. Currently, I am leading the Artsmark process at Springfield, with the objective of our school being awarded the gold level in recognition of the creative approach we have to the curriculum, as well as the many different opportunities we provide to children at Springfield.

James Woolley (Parent)

I have lived in Spondon for the past 10 years and my daughter attends Springfield school.

I have an education in Business and Finance and currently work as a Police Officer developing community and partnership relationships.

As a Governor, I am keen to see the school continue to evolve in the challenging economic climate. I am committed to see current and future children become the positive role model citizens of our future communities.
